    Re: Miva Merchant 5.5 Dream Features

    Inventory updates & publish new products from QuickBooks to Miva Merchant online store. Those features would save time and easy to use.

      Ok this is going to sound stupid. But what do people mean by Wombat and Gilligan when posting on here?

        Re: Miva Merchant 5.5 Dream Features

        Wombat is the code name for our next release that's in late stage Beta right now and Gilligan is the name of a long time Miva Merchant Developer (Bill Gilligan actually)

                Re: Miva Merchant 5.5 Dream Features

                It's been requested before but it merits repeating.

                Add the ability to Clone an attribute template. Setting up dozens (or hundreds) of these in admin is painful and error prone.

                Also re-think Attribute templates interface (circa 3.x I think.)

                When you view the list of templates, you are presented with Code and Prompt and provided with and edit here button. That’s fine; however when you click edit, you get a new screen with the same information!?! (plus Usage Count). It’s redundant and un-needed. You must then click Attributes and Options to actually edit the attribute.

                May I suggest?
                Screen 1. Attribute Templates (batch screen)
                Add a Usage Count Column.

                Screen 2. Add Template
                Add a third line. Optional: copy from: [ select one ] < - - list other templates.

                Screen 3. Edit Attribute Template: Template Tab
                Remove this Tab and go directly to Attributes and Options
                In its place, Add the Attribute Templates tab so that one can go directly back to the list

                Screen 4. Edit Attribute Template: Attributes and Options Tab
                Add editable information from the template tab (code and prompt) to the top. Display the Attribute Templates tab

                  Instead of this
                  Code:
                  <mvt:item name="product_list" />
                  It would be nice to be able to specify an alternate sort order directly, instead of using the display order field.
                  Code:
                   <mvt:item name="product_list|OrderBy fieldname ASC/DESC" />

                    I wish that all my purchased plugins were on one page and not spread out which makes them hard for find. Also I wish they were listed in alphabet order. I wish that product pages had a version history so you could go back. I wish that before you can delete a page or category, you got a prompt "are you sure?". I wish the delete button was not right next to the update button which makes it easy to accidentally hit. I wish the update button was on the bottom left side of the page which is faster to get to.

                        If there was a way for the product page not to "bounce" so much and somehow stay in the same place when you "edit here" & then click update

                          I think these two enhancements would be welcomed by everyone, and should be simple to do:

                          • Automatically append date time stamp on template “Notes” field as a prefix. Example:
                            Code:
                            05/10/2010 17:34:05 EDT: [Text from template Notes field]
                          • Template “Page Name”, and “Page Notes” [tokens]. Example:
                            Code:
                            <!-- [&mvt:page:name;]: [&mvt:page:notes;] -->

                            Is there a way to resend the shipping confirmation email to the customer in PR7? Can you send it to both the billing and shipping email addresses?

                                Canada Post is on our list and should be out before September.
