Jeff Collins of Nerd Boy, Inc. honored with the Blades Ecommerce Lifetime Achievement Award, at Miva Inc.’s 15th Annual MivaCon conference 2015.
To be recognized for this prestigious award, one must have contributed to Miva’s continued growth as a part of the Miva Merchant community and bestowed a meaningful impact on the existence of Miva, Inc. This year, the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Jeffrey Collins, a long time Miva Merchant community member, with a passion for ecommerce coursing through his veins.
In the early days, Jeff offered Miva users invaluable technical support via the support mailing list and he was eventually hired on as the 8th official Miva employee.
A long time Miva Scripter, Jeff drew out how OpenUI could conceptually work on a restaurant napkin. OpenUI gave Miva Merchant users unparalleled freedom in controlling the look and feel of their stores – Something the core Miva Merchant software wouldn’t be able to offer until years later.
Also being the CEO of Nerd Boy, Inc., Jeff still provides exemplary consulting and developing services to the Miva Merchant community.
Jeff proudly accepted his Lifetime Achievement Award at the Blades Ecommerce Awards ceremony on March 26th, 2015 at MivaCon – San Diego.
