San Diego, CA, 2009/04/15 — Miva Merchant is pleased to announce its new alliance with Amazon Payments, which offers a set of payment and checkout solutions geared toward the Amazon customer. Building on Miva Merchant’s successful partnership with Intuit, which gives merchants access to QuickBooks and better QuickBooks integration for their stores, the new merchant account processing services are focused on Amazon customers, who can now complete purchases on Miva Merchant websites conveniently, using the same information in their Amazon.com accounts. In addition to the familiar checkout experience, Checkout by Amazon automatically identifies Amazon.com customers as they shop, providing them with helpful features, such as 1-Click ordering and the Amazon A-to-z Guarantee that they have when they shop on Amazon.com. For merchants, the numerous valuable features include easy integration into existing store, cart up-sell feature, and reduced bad debt through Amazon’s fraud detection capabilities.
