The HAAN Corporation, known for its wide range of popular steam cleaning machines and products, has officially launched its first B2C-focused ecommerce store: HAAN USA, running on the Miva Merchant platform and developed by Miva Merchant’s own in-house Web Development team.
Founded in Korea by Romi Haan, the HAAN Corporation has seen the success and popularity of its products expand worldwide. Until now, however, the company has not had an ecommerce site in the United States because of regulatory issues.
With the new site, US-based customers can now purchase steam cleaners, garment steamers, handheld steamers, multi-purpose steamers, and related accessories easily and securely online.
“We chose to work with Miva Merchant based on their history of design excellence, and HAANUSA.com continues to exemplify that success,” says company President and Founder, Romi Haan. “Through collaborative efforts, we have achieved a website with a high-end look and feel that further strengthens the HAAN brand. Through HAANUSA.com, we now offer consumers a great resource for steam education and a valuable shopping destination.”
Among the features implemented by the Miva Merchant Design Team is the ability to search for products quickly and easily via drop-down menus and categorical listings. Other new features include an integrated blog and the ability for retail wholesalers to place large orders online; a feature that allows HAAN USA to cater to their larger wholesale customers while broadening their online presence at the same time.
“The overall look and functionality of our site has been greatly improved,” says company Product Manager Deirdre Daily. “We have attractive grid pages that display products for sale in a very consumer-friendly way. Implementing the ecommerce aspect was something that we had struggled with in the past, and Miva Merchant made this an easy transition for us.”
